Christian Director Wanted
Actor and writer, Christopher Lee Power is seeking a Christian director
to work with him to adapt his commercially published autobiography,
Breaking Free, (John Hunt 2009), into a multimedia one-man show. The book chronicles how the author came through difficult teenage years in Rock Ferry to redeem his life through a career in acting and becoming a Christian. This project would best suit a Christian director who lives in the North West of England who would be willing to work with him on a voluntary level . The one-man show would incorporate a variety of conventions e.g music, images, lighting, DVD, narration etc. Christopher will also look at seeking funding in the future regarding contributing to those involved and help towards touring the show. Christopher can be contacted on 0151 645 9928, @chrisleepower , cpower@talktalk.net See TV Interview of Christopher here
Budding writers wanted
Are you a freelance writer looking for CV credits? Do you have an interest in church history and a few hours to volunteer?
If so, then why not register at ChurchGuides.co.uk, a new not-for-profit website linking historic churches with volunteers willing to help draft a new guide to its history and architecture. It's a great opportunity to carry out original research which will be read for years to come. Many of Britain's churches are magnificent buildings with a fascinating history that is in danger of being lost. Help future visitors enjoy their visit and preserve a part of Britain's past.
You do not need to have any experience in writing church guides, nor do you need to be a Christian, and students (or graduates) of any subject can register. It is entirely up to you to take up any offer of writing a guide.
Visit www.churchguides.co.uk for more details!
