Evening all, hope you’re all having a great week so far.

I was blessed enough to blag myself a ticket to the second day of the HTB leadership conference so feeling particularly inspired today!  There was so much good stuff but there’s two things I wanted to quickly share with you:  The first is a challenge for us workaholics to rest in the One who restores our soul - geek chic pastor Judah Smith challenged us to put down our swords (referring to Peter in the garden of Gethsemane in John 18) and let God do the hard work.  He reminded us to step back and let Jesus do for us what we cannot do for ourselves.

The second was about letting your personality and individuality thrive.  Best seller Rick Warren asked ‘if you don't be you, who's going to be you?’  Are we bringing our personalities into our work in the media or are we shying away from who we truly are?  As a twin, I can promise you that God created no two people alike so let’s use our individuality in the most creative way possible to the best of our ability and for his glory.
