2K Plus have have for many years been reporting from major sporting events with news and comment reflecting a belief in Jesus Christ. They talk to sports people who follow Christ about the relevance of their faith among the joys, challenges, pressures and sacrifices of their sport. They ask how they cope with disappointment and the pressures of being role models for young people and produce a weekly radio programme, Planet Sport, heard on radio stations around the world.
OneSheep work with ministries like 2K Plus to enable them to take full advantage of the huge opportunity New Media gives them. OneSheep will be taking on the project of revamping the Planet Sport website for the Olympic Games and working with a team of interns to shoot and capture video and audio and run social media throughout the event.
We are now actively recruiting interns for a number of roles, through our partner ministry HCJB.
The internship program is an opportunity for young adults to experience Christian service in a dynamic, partnership-driven environment. They will be working alongside people from around the world to create, produce, and deliver content and relationships that share Christ’s love through the themes and values inspired by the Olympics. Not only getting technical training in the digital media field, they will also be receiving spiritual and missional guidance and training through their contribution with the work of OneSheep and the church in London. It is a unique experience that will raise up, empower and mobilize a new generation of Christ-centered media practitioners and disciples.
